FOR CMOS AT SERIES B AND LATER
Your board wants more pipeline from the same budget. Most of it is already in your CRM: leads nobody called, deals nobody revisited, customers nobody upsold. We find it, get it worked, and prove to your CFO what marketing added.
426 leads nobody called. Now every one has an owner and a date.
THE PROBLEM
Event, webinar and paid leads you already bought sit in the CRM with no owner and no first touch.
Marketing says it sourced it, sales says the leads were bad. Nobody can prove either.
Programs renewed on precedent, not on the pipeline each dollar produced.
Seats nobody uses, two tools for one job, data that never reaches the CRM.
At the next board meeting you will be asked what marketing added. Attribution can’t answer that. A holdout can.

Demo and contact requests sales never answered.
Syndication and paid leads bought, then never worked.
Rejected leads worth re-qualifying.

DO NOTHING VS RUN THE AUDIT
| IF YOU DO NOTHING | IF YOU RUN THE AUDIT | |
|---|---|---|
| Leads nobody called | They age out. Most will never hear from you. | Every one found, valued and given an owner with a first-touch date. |
| The pipeline gap | Stays open, so the answer is to buy more leads. | Closes with pipeline you already paid for, before new spend. |
| Next event and webinar budget | Approved on gut feel, or cut on gut feel. | Decided on which programs actually produced pipeline. |
| The board conversation | "Marketing generated the leads; sales didn't follow up." Nobody can prove either way. | One readout: what leaked, what was worked, and the lift against a holdout. |
| Next quarter | The same leak repeats with every new event. | New lead files reach a rep within two days, and the leak stays shut. |
WHAT ONE QUARTER PAID OFF · SAMPLE COMPANY
Doing nothing has a cost too: every lead that ages out is budget already spent, and next quarter's plan starts from the same gap.
Sample figures from a fictional company. Your results depend on your leads, your team and your follow-up.
WHAT YOUR BUSINESS GETS
Every lead nobody worked is found, valued and owned, with a first-touch date.
A clean, consent-checked CRM import with owners, the day the file arrives.
A holdout shows what working the leads added, with the limits stated.
Each market tested against its market, installed base and capacity, with CRO and CMO sign-off.
Every tool mapped: keep, cut, consolidate, or replace with an AI build.
Sourced and influenced pipeline, coverage, forecast and slippage from the same data.
WHY NOT JUST USE THE CRM?
| MANAGING IT IN YOUR CRM | WITH PIPELINEAUDIT.AI | |
|---|---|---|
| Finding what leaked | Someone builds and reads reports, if there is time | Every lead, deal and account nobody worked, found and valued in week 1 |
| New lead files | Cleaned and imported by hand, days after the event | A clean, consent-checked import with owners, the day the file arrives |
| Ownership | Routing rules apply to new leads from today on | Unowned leads shared out; owners and rep tasks in one import |
| Consent | A field someone fills in | Every lead checked against your actual notice and local rules |
| Proof | Attribution reports argue about who gets credit | A holdout shows what working the leads actually added |
| Your stack | Tools added one at a time, renewed by default | Mapped end to end: what to cut, consolidate or replace with an AI build |
| Your CRM | Your system of record | Still your system of record: we read exports and hand back a file to import |
We don't replace your CRM. We find the pipeline sitting in it, put the work back into it, and prove what it added.

FAQ
CMOs at Series B and later B2B companies: a sales team, a CRM, an average deal of US$30K or more, and a pipeline number marketing is measured on. If you run events, webinars or paid programs and can’t yet prove what they added, this is built for you.
Your CRM records what happened and routes new leads from today. It does not look back at what nobody worked, check it against what people consented to, or prove what working it added. We do that in two weeks, using your CRM's own exports, and write the result back into it. We don't replace your CRM; we make the pipeline already in it count.
Some of it, yes. A "leads with no activity" report takes an afternoon. The holdout, the consent check against your notice, the eight frameworks and quarter-over-quarter proof usually take a quarter of RevOps time that is already committed elsewhere. We are live in two weeks.
Attribution decides who gets credit. A holdout shows whether the work added pipeline at all: worked accounts against accounts nobody touched, at day 90. They answer different questions, and CFOs trust the second.
No. It reads exports and never logs in. Owner changes come back as a file your team imports, and nothing changes without their say.
Then the audit will find less, and the first readout shows that within two weeks. If routing is strict, follow-up is fast and data is clean, you may not need us, and we will say so.
Two exports, two weeks, and a holdout your CFO will accept. Walk into your next board update with what marketing added.
